The goal of this project is to enhance the St. Michael Lutheran Church by replacing the front entry and making subtle interior updates to modernize the space and create a more impressive presence.

The proposed exterior redesign introduces a larger, more proportional overhang that elegantly frames the stained glass window. A sleek metal shed roof, supported by stone columns, adds a striking and monumental quality to the entrance. Expansive glass doors and windows further enhance the space by allowing more natural light to flow inside.

Inside, the remodel features updated materials and contemporary signage for improved wayfinding. A key addition is a carefully positioned opening in the existing wall between the entry and the connection center, ensuring that visitors of all heights can fully appreciate the extraordinary stained glass window.

These thoughtful enhancements create a more inviting, accessible, and visually appealing space while remaining sensitive to the building’s original design and character.
